Description
Deutsch: Wasserrad unterschlächtig Zitat: Die unterschlächtigen Wasserräder werden durch die lebendige Krast des Wassers, häufig mit reiner Stoßwirkung, getrieben, so daß sie einen durchschnittlich geringen Wirkungsgrad haben. Die ungünstigste Wirkung haben von ihnen die schon erwähnten Schiffmühlenräder, demnächst die Räder im geraden oder Schnurgerinne (Fig. 8). Die letztern werden nur durch den Wasserstoß in Umdrehung versetzt und lassen noch ein bedeutendes Wasserquantum unbenutzt durch den Zwischenraum zwischen Rad und Gerinne fortgehen (Wirkungsgrad nur 0,30-0,35). Sie werden nur bei geringen Gefällen von etwa 1 m verwendet.
